\ud83c\udf05 Day 1 | Departure from \u00c7e\u015fme \u2013 Southern Island Tour (Armolia \u2013 Mesta \u2013 Pyrgi)<\/strong><\/p>

Check-in and passport procedures begin at 07:45 at the check-in office at \u00c7e\u015fme Customs Port entrance. The ferry departs at 08:30, and after an approximately 30-minute crossing across the Aegean, we arrive in Chios. Our guide meets us at Chios Port and the island tour begins.<\/p>

Our first stop is Armolia Village, famous for its handmade ceramics, where we take a short break at a ceramics workshop.<\/p>

Next, we visit Mesta, one of the best-preserved medieval castle-villages, where we walk through its labyrinth-like narrow streets, stop for coffee in the village square, and see the Taxiarchis Church.<\/p>

We then continue to Pyrgi Village, known for its geometrically patterned houses, where our guide explains the local decorative technique called “Xysta.”<\/p>

After the tour, free time is given for lunch at a seaside taverna, where guests can enjoy fresh seafood and mezes.<\/p>

At the end of the tour, we transfer to the hotel and check in.

After breakfast at the hotel, the Northern Island tour begins.<\/p>

Our first stop is Tabakika, home to the island’s iconic seaside historic windmills, where we take a photo break with Aegean views.<\/p>

Next, we visit Daskalopetra, believed to be where Homer wrote his works \u2014 a rocky site turned into a school by his students in the 6th century BC, one of the island’s most significant historical and cultural landmarks.<\/p>

We stop for lunch in Langada, a charming fishing village, where guests can enjoy fresh seafood, mezes, and local delicacies at seaside tavernas.<\/p>

On the way back, we take a photo stop at Agios Isidoros Church, one of Chios’s landmark structures, built over the sea \u2014 according to legend, mastic resin is associated with this saint.<\/p>

The evening is free time after the tour.<\/p>

In the evening, we meet at the hotel reception at the time set by our guide for the return transfer.<\/p>

Guests may enjoy a pleasant walk through Chios’s lively town center, shop at boutique stores, sip coffee at seaside caf\u00e9s with Aegean views, or relax and swim in the crystal-clear waters. Optional activities suggested by our guide can add extra color to the day.<\/p>

In the evening, guests who wish may join a traditional Greek Night, featuring select dishes from Greek cuisine along with live “bouzouki” music and dance performances.<\/p>
